These updates include any name changes, as well as changes in descriptions, index and scoring for some taxa and clarification in some of the introductory sections.

To download the updates; Click on the link and download the ZIP file, extract the files and write to the root directory of the RFK program on the USB.

That is, download the ZIP file and save to your computer. Unzip the file (by clicking on the folder) and save the files to a new folder (similar name but not compressed); copy the files and paste (overwrite) the files to the USB root directory (RFK).  If requested to replace, click and continue.

Version 1.4 (March 2017) contains changes to how the key works, these have been included to overcome the problems caused by Java. There are now 3 options, refer to section ‘How to Use’ on the USB for more information. It is suggested that you use the first option (JavaScript Player). However, try the other options and then decide which one suits you and your computer setup the best.  Internet Explorer is now the preferred browser for the Applet Player, as there are issues with the latest version of Firefox (Version 52, March 2017) as it no longer supports plugins.
